On May 13, 2025, two representatives of the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) met with local team members of the proposed Robles Diversion modification project (see Project Elements) to familiarize themselves with the existing Robles Diversion facilities. This site visit was followed up by an afternoon meeting to go over the two currently favored alternatives for the modification project. USBR will be doing physical modeling of the currently proposed alternatives to provide valuable insights on potential design and operational characteristics of the full-scale alternatives should they be implemented. This will allow for further refinement of designs. The USBR staff members also visited the Matilija Dam site.
