Saturday’s weather was the perfect setting for a tour of the Matilija Dam and a hike along the adjacent trail led by VCPWA’s partners at Concerned Resource and Environmental Workers (CREW) ☀️🥾🌿.
The walk was led by Derek Poultney and David White of CREW 🚶♂️🚶♂️. Tours are open to the public to provide an opportunity to hear about the planned dam removal and the effort to return the Ventura River back to its original scenic and wild state 🌊🌳.
Approximately 40 hikers joined the event, including members of the Women’s Club of Ojai 👥🏞️.
