What's Happening Now

Matilija Dam Removal

Sediment transport model is being finalized. Coordination for physical modeling with the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR). California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) studies in progress. ​

ROBLES DIVERSION MODIFICATION ​

New design plan options improve sediment transport, water supply reliability, flood protection, and fish passage.

HABITAT RESTORATION

Giant reed (Arundo donax) and other invasive species removal. The program, which began in 2007, transitioned to local project partners in 2025.

CAMINO CIELO BRIDGE​

Sediment model results will inform design re-evaluation. Design team to explore alternatives that address complications while finding an affordable solution.

MEINERS OAKS FLOOD PROTECTION

Initial studies confirm co-benefits of Robles modifications. ​

LIVE OAK ACRES LEVEE​

CEQA studies and final design work in progress. ​

CASITAS SPRINGS LEVEE​
